All deposits are non refundable. Your deposit will be applied to the final price of your turkey.

What size bird should I purchase?
Our recommended serving size is based off of 1.5 pounds of bird per person. This is based on the assumption that no other protein is being served. Recommended serving sizes do not account for additional leftovers.
Are there any other ordering and pickup options available?
Yes, there are three other options. The first would be ordering through Chesapeake Farm to Table (Baltimore County) https://chesapeakefarmtotable.localfoodmarketplace.com/Account/Login . Their pick up options will be made available during the ordering process. The second option would be ordering directly through Laurie with the Waltz Family Farm (Prince Georges County) https://waltzfamilyfarm.com/. Their pick up will be on Saturday November 22nd at the Hollywood Farmers Market (9801 Rhode Island Ave.) in College Park. The third option is Pickup Only. You would still order your turkey through our website but select pickup at Bold Love Farm and Bakery. The are located at 13692 Lexington Drive, Mt. Airy, MD 21771. You will be able to pickup Tuesday November 25th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm or Wednesday November 26th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Am I buying a live turkey?
No! You are purchasing a processed bird that is ready to cook!
Do I have to pull anything our of my turkey before placing it in the oven?
Yes! There is a neck, heart, and liver that should be removed before cooking, These extras are loose (not bagged).
Will my turkey be ok in the refrigerator until Thanksgiving?
Yes! Your fresh turkey is just fine in a properly maintained refrigerator. No need to put it in the freezer if you are cooking it for Thanksgiving!
How long should I cook my bird?
Everyone ovens cooks differently. We recommend a meat thermometer/probe. Cook to 160 F and let rest to come up to 165 F
Are the birds humanely raised?
Yes! We get them as day old babies and ensure all their needs are met! They are out on pasture as soon as they are big enough and have access to grass and a complete feed that meets all their nutritional needs.
Do you have 10 pound or less turkeys?
No. If you want smaller portions, we offer frozen breasts, legs, and thighs. We also have frozen whole chickens available.
Is my deposit refundable?
No. Unfortunately once your turkey is reserved we consider it sold.
When will I be able to pickup up my turkey?
Turkeys will be available for pickup closer to Thanksgiving
