Beef Chili


1 lb Whispering Breeze Farm Ground Beef

1 lb Sausage (We like it hot)

4 large celery stalks chopped

1 large onion chopped

2 minced garlic cloves 

2 cans of fire roasted tomatoes (15 oz. each)

2 cans of dark red kidney beans (15 oz. each) 

1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)

4 tsp chili powder

1 tsp crushed dried basil

Note: you will want to drain and rinse your kidney beans before adding them. 


In a large pot cook meat, onion, celery, and garlic.  Drain. Stir in undrained tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili power, basil.  Salt and pepper to taste.  Allow to simmer on stovetop for 45 min stirring occasionally.  Or transfer to crockpot and leave on low for 6-8 hours.
